Conveniently located on the corner of 29th and Madison, The James New York - NoMad Hotel offers brides and grooms the opportunity to host their guests for a full weekend experience - including room block, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, wedding after party and departure brunch - all on one property. 

We understand that no event is the same, which is why all of our food and beverage programs are carefully curated for each guest. We provide an initial consultation to understand your vision, and then we will work with your budget to bring the experience to life. 

Our culinary offering ranges from cocktail parties with unique stations, to seated dinners in either a convivial sharing style format or formal plated dinners. 

Our mixology team will work with you to pair the perfect wines with your food, to create specialty libations as well as unique cocktail bar experiences.

The Madison Room

The Madison Room is our premiere events space, located on the lower level of the hotel. Infusing the perfect blend of modern yet elegant design and a neutral color palette, the event space allows guests to transform the room to any personal style and celebration type.

The Madison Room is the largest of our event spaces, with 2,200 square feet of reception space, and can host up to 180 guests for a seated dinner, or 100 guests for a seated dinner with a dance floor.

The room is fully equipped with complimentary WiFi, surround sound, and a 106-inch drop-down projection screen.

Rehearsal Dinners

Scarpetta Restaurant offers three private dining rooms, ideal for a seated Rehearsal Dinner for up to 60 guests. Kick off the wedding weekend with Scarpetta signature dishes, specialty wines and cocktails, and a seasoned hospitality team to ensure that no detail is missed, giving one less thing for the bride and groom to worry about! 

Should the event exceed 60 guests, seating is available in The Madison Room for up to 180 and can be catered by Scarpetta with custom menus. For those looking for a less formal rehearsal dinner, buffet style dinner menus are available, as well as cocktail reception format.

Bridal Showers

Scarpetta's main dining room, and three private dining rooms are available for day-time private events, filled with natural light and ideal for a bridal shower or baby shower. Recommendations available with preferred vendors to transform the space and custom pastry can be arranged for a pintrest worthy dessert table.
